The love for music was a natural thing for me. I started playing guitar and singing at the age of six years old. I have paid my dues many times over and have put many hours up on hours of practice, time, and dedication into what I do. At times I would lock myself in my room and practice for 12 to 14 hours straight until my fingers would bleed. I fell in love with music from day one. The passion continues to fuel me to write, practice, and perform. When you realize that passion inside you , you make the commitment and strive to give it the best you possibly can.
So the love for music, that passion, came naturally; followed by practice, dedication, and the power that a dream holds."

The true and simple story is that Styll is a pseudonym for a singer/songwriter/composers experiences. Styll is a life all itself. Styll is original, pure, and straight from the heart. The irony of the cd is that it started with the death of a dear friend to cancer and ended with the death of a grandmother to heart surgery. Styll represents songs of life and the search for healing in this world we all call home. It deals with the struggles and triumphs we all face and that never ending will to succeed. This was Johns goal that he hoped to get across in the compositions and firmly believes that hope is always there, even in the darkest of times. Never give up on yourself, even when it may appear no one else is with you. The cd is dedicated and appreciated by all those who have loved , lost, and continue to live. There is Styll all around.
