Updates, Updates, Updates :)


Hello everyone,

Well it is official folks. I received word the other day that the First Official Ovation Guitar Fan Club CD is completed.

I was approched for my song" Still Standing" to appear.
The CD will be a limited edition run.

It is quite the honor for me to receive that appreciation from my peers and the Ovation Guitar Fan Club.

Updated* The cd is done, They have started shipping. The first batch has sold out before it was set to go. Due to demand, they are printing additional orders.
I cannot thank them all enough as well as all of you.

In other news I have posted a list for those of you that have been asking about Digital Downloads. I recently signed a Digital Distribution Deal and the list of companies involved is growing rapidly.
The cd is also available online through Best Buy, Tower records, Sound check records, Cd baby, as well as right here.

There is a buzz at the moment that some of you may be aware of. My name has been thrown in the fold as a candidate to become the new Fuel singer. I have not been contacted by anyone at this point. What has occurred is I have been receiving numerous emails from the fuleies and was nominated by a good number of them. That is all the info I have to tell at this present time.
It is yet again and honor for me to get that kind of recognition and the vote of confidence from the Fuelie community. Whomever Carl and Jeff do choose I'm quite sure it will be the right pick regardless.
Its always a touchy situation in these matters but you have to be able to respect the past, to embrace the present, in order to move into the future.

Updated* I have been given an opportunity to audition for that band. I will be performing at a concealed location over the weekend recording one of thier amazing songs.

I have been in the computer field since 1993. Hello everyone,


Ive had alot of fun the last year playing here and there just on the fly as they say. I've been to Nashville, scheduled in Texas, New York, Played different places throughout the states. It all has been done with no schedules. I just take my guitar and go. Half the time I dont even know where I'll be playing. I find a place, and they let me take their stage and do my thing. It really has been quite the enlightening experience. I never took the stage solo before until the last year or so. I either had a full band or accompaniment. Through this I have learned many more things about life, people, myself, and the extreme power that a voice and a guitar holds. I've also met a ton of cool and interesting people along the way.

It has made me appreciate everything that much more.

A few updates for you;

Styll has been approached to sign a digital distribution deal with Apple, Yahoo, iTunes, Rhapsody, Sony Connect, Napster, and MP3tunes. This will be taken into strong consideration. This is the short list, there are many more companies involved with this deal.

Also Styll will also be available for purchase through Best Buy; This is all in the pre progress stages. I will let you know when this is all decided and finalized.

Another page is also in the works at myspace. Four full songs will be avaibale for you listening pleasure there.

I'm also looking to assemble a full touring band with the works. Slide guitar, keys, bass,percussion, maybe a fiddle...It all depends on the feel, the groove, and the structure of all the elements involved. If it can be done, great! Until then Im happy doing what I'm doing writing and playing the part of the gypsy musician... :)

The one country concert has been postponed indefinitely. The concert was to benefit those who suffered from Hurricane Katrina.

Styll was set to take the stage with ZZtop and Kenny Chesney...to name a few.
Go figure , a Hurricane is to blame. Hopefully something can be worked out at a later time.

Condolences go out to the entire Bubick family for the loss of their dear Edward(The Sarge)Bubick. Edward is the father of my fiancé Angela.

When I was first was introduced into the Bubick family things did not go so smoothly. Mr. Bubick being the good man, and father he was , was very protective of his family and especially his daughters. I never held anything personally against him or his faimily for that...If I had a daughter I would do the same.
In a short time after the families guard was let down...a new atmosphere emerged from the family and I was welcomed with open arms. Since then, it has been at times...different...warm...fun... but most of all in the short time I have seen tons of love from each of them to every member of the family. It has been an experience in my life that certainly was not expected but now certainly welcomed and appreciated.

Mr. Bubick had an amazing love for life and his faimly. He also loved Johnny Cash...
Mr. Bubick I dedicate my version of Ring of Fire, tonight...to you.
Rest in Peace... thank you for allowing me to become a part of your family.

Ive been getting tons of emails on where to purchase the cd, shirts, etc...

Have you seen the Styll Online store :) All of the styll goodies are available there. The other sites listed below offer the cd only.
You will not find my release in major outlets...This is all family run...as they say. I am an indie artist doing the indie thang...:)
Time to show the major labels a thing or two. We, all of us together, have proved them wrong time and time again.

Hello again everyone,

A few updates for you, First as you can see from the scroll The Styll Cd baby site is finally up and functional. In 2 days it has received over 100 visits. I think Cd baby will be a very nice addition to the Styll family. It offers a listen to all of the songs and gives a nice two minute selection of each song. I am very pleased with the result. It continues to give those who have become a part of Styll and those new to Styll yet another home and place to enjoy on the internet. We are all growing together...I cannot give enough thanks to you all for that. Your appreciation and response is priceless.

Second, Styll may be making a return to Nashville to take the stage with a few friends. Talks are underway to see what can be done. My friend Bill Goff and I are discussing plans and seeing what we can orchestrate. I will keep everyone posted. My last trip there to perform was quite the success and I have had much feedback from those who missed the shows to make a return. Bill has been getting quite the response as well.
