Hello everyone and happy belated New Years.
Not much to tell as January brings winter along with a vengance. Right now we're all just hibernating and trying to stay warm. Ive been composing away on the next CD and things are moving along nicely. Im really in no rush to get the recording started as of yet since the present CD basically just came out. As a writer though, its what we do. :)
I had the opportunity to preview STYLL, Finland and have to Thank our friend Juha for his progress. Hes doing an excellent job and the site is looking really nice.
Ive also been contacted to do an interview for Spotlight Magazine. Paul has interviewed everyone from KISS, Dokken to you name it. Hes certainly making a nice name for himself in the business from years of hard work. We wish him the best of success and it certainly is a pleasure to have the opportunity to be contacted by him for an interview. Thanks Paul!
We'll keep you posted as to when that part of things goes through. Well i suppose i did have more than i thought to tell you... Take care...we look forward to your continued support as we enter 2004.
Sincerely,
STYLL, John, and Rich

Hello everyone,
We're going to start the updates off early this month. The cd is selling very nicely. The response we have received is tremendous. We have received feedback from literally around the world. We have also received emails and the thumbs up from magazines, agencies, radio, other musicians and very touching letters from you. We thank you so very much for all of that .We are also shopping for representation.I have heard from a few agencies interested but none that i feel have "us" in their best interest. The agency needs to understand what we're doing and what we are about. Its all good.
The site will be going through some minor changes and a few new items are in talks for the online store.
As 2003 comes slowly to an end we will not slow down here at all. We look to enter 2004 with optimisim, faith, and that continued will to succeed. Thank you to all of you as always. We are looking forward to hearing from you and seeing you all out there somewhere on that path.
Sincerely,
STYLL, John Harvan, Rich Arieta

Yesterday (November 12th, 2003), we played at Sarah Street Grill in Stroudsburg, Pa and had an excellent time. We always enjoy the atmosphere, which is filled with smiling faces and kind people. The musicians that perform are always great to be around too! We would like to personally thank Diane and Willie and Sarah Street Grill as a whole to their dedication on keeping original music alive. In addition, we would also like to thank our friends, family, and fans for supporting us on this journey. You are appreciated more than words can say!
Thank you,
Styll

Here are some updates...
Some good things happened to us in LA in addition to Paladinos wanting us to play on a regular basis. First of all,
our CD was played for the ENTIRE Hollywood Boulevard where 1000s of people heard it. All you heard was rap, the fabricated put-togethers, screaming, and hip hop all along the Boulevard,(absolutley nothing wrong with any of this kind music,to each is their own) when they played our cd you could sense a feeling of newness in the Hollywood air. It was as if two guys from a small town in PA introduced the Boulevard to honesty, purity, heart, and soul. The response was awesome! People were stopping to listen, tapping their feet and moving their heads to the music. It was very moving to see that kind of response, knowing the hard work and struggles endured to get where we were. It brought tears to my eyes. We also gained fans from Tokyo, Japan, and we were asked when we will be playing there. Amoeba music(www.amoebamusic.com), this huge cd store on the Sunset Strip signed a contract to
sell it. We also dropped a CD at Capital Records. The entire experience was quite humbling. While we were in CA, our website was down due to overload from receiving mega hits, which was almost 1000 hits in less than a week.

Peace

Hello everyone!
I apologize for missing the month of September. I'm still trying to get over the fact whether or not we actually had summer.
Time for some updates... Styll will be performing at the famous
Paladinos Club, Wednesday October 29th. While we're there we'll take in the sights and hit a few other places by surprise to play if we can. We'll have to see how far we're away from the sunset strip and take it all in. We will have some merchandise along with us, as much as we can carry. We are proud to announce our CD is now availabe at SoundCheck records. If your in the area of Lehighton, Pa, stop over at the Carbon Plaza Mall and say hello to Trooper, Chris, and the crew. They certainly are big supporters in the music scene. Trooper will also be opening a second store in Tamaqua in the near future. We hope to have some items in trhat store as well. We recently donated a CD, shirt, and poster to the ABC trust foundation, which goes to help feed the children of the world. Our items were there along with items from No Doubt, Jimmy Page, Oni Logan, just to name a few. I also received a very nice thank you letter from Rhonda at ABC, thanking us for our contribution and letting me know that the day was a success.
On another note, I would like to send my get well wishes and a speedy recovery to Rich's grandmother who will be heading into the hospital for surgery. Hang in there, be strong, you're a fighter. The cd has been selling very nicely, as well as the shirts. We have received response from just about everywhere. The dream is alive and well! Thought for life..."The only one that can truely bring you down is you!"

Hello everyone,
Hoping you can help and give us a shout out....we believe in this cause and feel this in our hearts to the point that we have decided to donate partial proceeds from our sales to this cause. Through a tragedy and the power of music we have made friends with Heidi Peralta, the girlfriend of Ty Longley. Ty is the guitar player from Great White who lost his life in the Rhode Island nightclub fire. Heidi just gave birth to his child, Acey Longley. A fund was started to help Acey, and to help aid the victims of the fire. Over 100 people were killed and over 180 injured in a venue where they claimed only 80 attended. Our hearts go out to all of them. Feel free to browse our site, take a listen, maybe even join us. Partial proceeds from our sales will go to the Ty longley baby fund.Check out our online store and support a dream and a noble cause.

I also have a story as well (the short version)upon the start of this cd my dear friend Kelly passed away from cancer. Upon completion of this cd, my nannie, my second mom, grandmother
title to most, passed away from heart failure surgery. The cd is
dedicated in their memory. The songs 'Still Standing' and 'Gone But Not
Forgotten' (the cd)is for them as well as those who know what its truely like to lose someone so near and dear. The cd overall deals with life's struggles, triumphs, and the commitment to what you believe in,learn to live, make life yours and keep the dream alive.

John
